[mythtv-users] No sound when playing files (sound with mythmusic and files play in mplayer)

Hi list,

I am setting up a new system and am having a difficult time with getting sound.

I have alsa:default as my audio output device and Default for my Pass
Through Output Device.

Here is the output of aplay -L

I am using an on board optical output to my receiver.

I can play music files within mythmusic just fine.

I can play the video files with mplayer just fine.

When I try to play those file in mythvideo, I get no audio.
