[mythtv-users] Duplicate recordings because of bad SD data?

[Robert, I assume you're seeing these even if I'm not sending straight
to you?  I'm including the list for many of these so others might take
a look at what's going on as well, etc...  And I'd love to find out if
the "will TMS ever duplicate an ID if the first try was bogus" issue
(see previous message) will happen...]

I think the problem of TMS duplicating programs when they're really
the same one is getting worse.  I'm pretty sure it's not just that
I'm reporting them now; I'm seeing increasing numbers of them over
the last few weeks/months.

Latest example that I just noticed:

These are bit-for-bit identical in their CC data except for the
commercials.  I'm recording the series; Myth just spuriously
rerecorded Canopyworld because, of course, it's got a completely
different description and suddenly now claims to be a series (where
before it was a special) and a new programid.  And even different
airdates, etc!  Totally new info, but it's the same program.  It
appears (so far) to have only two episodes in this series, but it's
pretty clear that the general setup is that this is a series with
some indeterminate number of future episodes.
