Why would you buy an "additional" one?  If you have one, that's all
you need for an entire myth system.  If you are already using SD for
your listings for your HDHomeRun, turn off EIT.  If you are not, then
yes, you need to live with EIT (or no listings).  The traffic amount
is miniscule.
