I believe that the main problem, as with any other project I've joined and watched others join is that those who have gotten to know things well have a hard time understanding questions by those who don't yet know the terminology :).

I'll pick it up, I'm most interested in this project and if I can get it working for me, would love to tell everyone who cool it is. I'm a total pusher of Linux.

Those look great and I could see that in the future but to start with, I cannot justify that kind of money as I have a ton of hardware handy.
