Mark,
FYI, Mythbuntu automatically set up 3 cronjobs that run various
Jamu options. Here are the 3 cron jobs, their purposes, the command line
options and the frequency they are run.
1) Download the "Watch Recordings" screen artwork. Options:
/.../jamu.py -MW Hourly
2) Download and maintain MythVideo meta data and artwork. Options:
/.../jamu.py -M Daily
3) Remove unused artwork: Options:
/.../jamu.py -MJ Weekly

The cronjob you found was #2. The log information you have in your post
is from the #1 cron job.

I cannot fully account for why the art work "suddenly" appeared unless
you happen to switch themes from one which does not show artwork on the
"Watch Recordings" screen to one that does. In any event your options are:
1) Find and disable both the #1 and #2 cronjobs then delete all
downloaded artwork.
2) Change themes to one that does not show artwork like a previous
posted suggested.
3) Remove all artwork directories from you front end settings.
Effectively leaving MythTV and Jamu with no place to look for or
download artwork. Assuming you have not disabled ALL three Jamu conjobs
Jamu will start posting errors in the jamu log complaining about the
lack of artwork directories.

These suggestions will work. There are NO special controls/settings in
MythTV related Jamu. MythTV just looks for artwork and displays it when
it it found.

Doug
