Before sleeping, MiniMyth does a few things in an attempt to make 
suspend and resume more reliable. First, it stops all applications other 
than mythfrontend and mythwelcome (assuming mythwelcome is running). 
Second, it return mythfrontend to the main menu. Third, it stops LCDd 
because LCDd sometimes stops working as a result of suspend. Fourth, it 
stops irexec so the the remote button press used to suspend the system 
does not accidentally suspend the system right after it wakes up. Fifth, 
it saves the time.
