The only thing mythbackend does to decide whether to run a master or
slave is to check to see if the local IP address defined for that
hostname is the same as the master IP address. Run mythtv-setup on your
backend, set both of those addresses to 192.168.188.231, and your
backend will run as master, and listen on your network for remote
connections.
