[mythtv-users] 0.21 / Mythbuntu - TV editing always shows wrong frame

Hi,

I've got a problem with video editing / cutting.

Say I fire up the editor during watching a recorded video.  It displays 
a frame.
If I jump forward or backward by 1 second the video re-positions, and I 
see a different frame.

However if I jump, say 20 seconds, or 1 frame, (or anything other than 1 
second) different frames flash on the screen for a split second, but 
then the frame I originally started at is re-displayed.

For example, say I started at the start of an ad break, I then skip 
through in 1 minute blocks ... at each skip the image on the screen 
never finally changes.   I see a brief glimpse of the correct frame, but 
then it's over-painted by the frame from the first step.  If I jump 20 
times, I still see that original frame.

Any ideas on this?   It's driving me crazy.
