I have 2 revo 1600s (one on .23-fixes and the other .22-fixes), and I
have never encountered that error with recording from both HDHR and
HDPVR (and various other content/codecs).. The only time I have had
the "stuck on please wait" problem, a simple press of
up/down/left/right or play/pause has brought the video to the screen.
The only time I can think of mythfrontend crashing or needing
restarting are 2 things:

o Sometime when I scan for videos, it dies - very rarely though
o Sometimes when I FF a few minutes, then RW 10 minutes (to the
beginning), then immediately FF 10 minutes, it will almost always hang
the FE. I just try not to do that anymore..

I have never changed any of the default vdpau settings on either FE
(other than the deinterlacer)..

Does it seem to be a certain kind of content, or is it seemingly random?
