I do not have the same card as you, so I will only speak to pulse
audio.  On my revo, it added a very noticeable 70-100ms delay to my
audio on every recording I played back.  A/V out of sync every time.
I switched back to alsa after  my brief test and all is well again.  I
am sure it is only because of the atom cpu though..  My beefy laptop
with pulse chugged right along just fine..
