Too tired to investigate now, but looks like a
Qt3(pkg)/Qt4(pkg)/Qt4(src) conflict and Qt3 env vars in place when
running lupdate... Fortunately my build script for MythTV picked the
correct locations, otherwise I'd have noticed earlier.
