Yes, this is very helpful.  I will try that tomorrow.  I have pretty much
come to the conclusion that it must be some kind of bug in VisualBox either
because of VisualBox or its interaction with my kernel.  Hopefully WMWare
will not have the same issue.

You are getting 65-70%. What is your CPU model and speed?
