Thanks Jean-Yves.  I'll try logging the audio output as well as playing it
with mplayer tonight.  I wasn't expecting a software fix, just hoping there
was something I could tweak in the settings.  If all else fails, I'll have
to consider upgrading to 0.23 if it happens again.  This was the first time
it's happened since I've been using 0.22.
