[mythtv-users] Channel change not working on initial recording

Strange behavior on my mythbackend version: 22.23069. Logs below [1]

It's set to powerdown when not recording. When booting up from a
poweroff for the first recording of the night it doesn't set the
channel. It thinks it does..but it really just records whatever the
channel was last set to.

The system is firewire connected to a pace set top box. Changing
channels works just fine watching live TV.

Curious if anyone has delt with this already? I even set the priming
script to tune the channel manually before mythbackend starts and that
doesn't help.
