[mythtv-users] aspect detection mpeg2 vs h264 dvb streams

When i watch live-tv or recordings on DVB-T mpeg2 channels, Myth
automatically scales the picture to the correct aspect : wide-screen (16:9)
or non-wide (?) screen (4:3) for each show. I'm not sure how, but it works
fantastically and detects aspect correctly for every show and movie. But the
new h264 channels (SD) only detects aspect when one enters the channel - not
between shows.

I'm not even sure how to debug it - I do get some information from the
frontend logs when it changes show on mpeg2, but no information when
changing shows on h264. Maybe it changes stream on mpeg2 and its just one
stream on h264 channels.

mpeg2 log excerpt:

'video_output' mean = '41003,74', std. dev. = '5799,59', fps = '24,39'

Can it be fixed with a setting or other work-around ? (yes, you can manually
override aspect, but that alot of clicks for each show)

Btw. I run trunk 23725M and use XV for SD and VDPAU for HD.
