I dont have a "working red button" but I have about 7 channels called
STREAM-0...6 which are the BBC interactive streams. I just have to
flick through these to find the right program when I want to watch one
of them. Not very scientific and maybe the red button can be made to
work, but I don't use it that much so I've never really looked into it.
The frequencies, etc are on http://lyngsat.com/28east.html - search for
*12441 V* tp 38 (I think thats them)
