[mythtv-users] Transcodin questions..

I tried to transcode using the default transcode setup, which converted my
mpeg-2 TS to a nuv that was bigger than the original mpg file, and after the
transcode, subtitles had disappeared as well.

Is there an option to keep the subtitles? Maybe doing a lossless transcode?

I subsequently tried to define a new transcoding profile, called lossless,
that should do exactly what it's named. BUT! this doesn't show up on any of
my frontends. (I tried to restart backend/master, and all frontends but that
didn't help)

I then looked in the documentation for myth, which was waaay outdated,
stating versions 0.19, and 0.20 (we are now moving closely to 0.23).

So how are things working nowadays ?(I use myth 0.22 at present time)
