I'm pretty sure it's using VDPAU profile since cpu usage was less than
5% with the 7750 and around 20% with the sempron playing back
yesterday's Steelers fail (CBS HD 1080i from my HDHomerun)

I have that same motherboard, which cpu do you have?, can you please
send me your deinterlacer settings?
