Thanks for your reply. Yes I did and tried different Deinterlacers. In
my log you can see:

The reason I was refering to playback profile CPU+ was that that
running CPU+ in a clean MythBuntu 9.04 + MythTV 0.21 setup works
while MythTV 0.22 with CPU+ or VDPAU does not.
