[mythtv-users] duplicates in upcoming recordings ?

My myth installation has suddenly developed a strange behavior. When I set
something to record, it will show up  twice (on 2 different inputs) in the
upcoming recordings and status web interfaces. In fact this particular
recording is available on 3 different inputs. I had something similar last
week, where myth theoretically recorded the same program from 2 different
sources. I say theoretically because although in the recorded table the
program does appear to have been recorded from 2 different sources, the
actual mpeg files came from a single source. I know this because the files
are both large (6GB for a 2 hour recording), which means they came from my
provider via satellite (where they broadcast at roughly 7.0 Mb/s) and not
over the Digital cable (ca  2 Mb/s).  This started happening recently, after
adding a analog tuner. Previously, when I set something to record, mythv did
the right thing and recorded from the 1st (and best) input. Now, it seems
that if select "record only this showing" I'll get duplicates, but if I
select "find and record one showing of this title" I get the expected
behavior.

Is this the way its supposed to behave ?
