I use album artist as a meta-grouping for collectoins.  So, for
example, I have all of my ministry of sound cds tagged as "Ministry of
Sound" for "album artist," but the REAL artist as the "artist."

So now if I sort by artist I can get my music that is by "prancy
generic dj # 17" but if I want all of my "Ministry of Sound" stuff
(regardless of year/exact cd/etc) it comes up as well.
