[mythtv-users] US Open Tennis - Dynamic Scheduling Request

It is not all that uncommon for shows like 60 Minutes to run late due to
some sports event or worse miss the end of a good tennis match which ran
beyond the scheduled time. What was it 2 days ago I missed the end of a
Nadal match and in the early rounds missed the end of a Federor match.
Today 60 Minutes is 20-25 minutes late and the entire episode will be
broadcast and if I don't manually extend the time I will miss 20-25 minutes
of the program.

Due to rain the US Open scheldule has been updated
http://www.usopen.org/en_US/news/weather.html, but it doesn't show the how
many hours are scheduled. I just manually ran mythfilldatabase to see if
the tennis scheldules have been updated with scheldulesdirect and they have
not. Now I will need to manually add 4 different Tennis schedules to catch
the rest of the US Open.

Someone must have brought up these issues before. For event type
programming can we setup some sort of system where users could note the
event is running long and when it ends and have myth reschedule as needed?

Do Tivo or other DVR devices/services offer this type of dynamic
rescheduling ?

Thanks,
Chuck
