[mythtv-users] recordings stop early

I have two similar problems maybe they match your problem more closely or
help with figurting out your issue more precisely.

1. with chase play the playback stops at the point mythtv was recording when
I started playback, asif myth is unaware the file has been extended. This
only happens 80% sometimes it advances a little and you can see this in the
program info the lenth changes

2. The program is scheduled to be on until 10pm but myth records until 9:58
losing the last couple of minutes.

I found a ticket (#6516) related to these errors which apparently
Daniel K is working to resolve.  Could these errors have something to
do with the recording premature endings or is it a red herring?
