[mythtv-users] Just installed PVR 500, get purple and green lines on both tuners.

Hi Everybody,

I just replaced a bad PVR250 (Freestyle) with a PVR 500,  (I installed it 
without the bracket, see earlier thread).

Now on the video, I see equally spaced alternating purple and green vertical 
lines all the way across the screen.  There are about 16 lines total, 8 of 
each.  A quick google search suggests that I may have a ground loop problem, 
but it doesn't appear on either of my working PVR-250s.  

Does anybody know what the problem might be?  If it's a ground loop, how to I 
deal with it?

dmesg shows that I have Philips tuners in this card, not the newer junkier 
Samsungs.
