Until then, there's Gossamer's search of commits ( 
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/engine?do=search;;list=mythtv --I 
recommend "Search" "Commits", "Sort posts by" "Post date", and prefacing 
your search terms with, +"Ticket #" (quotes included on the last one)).

There's also Google with 
"site:http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-commits/" (no quotes) somewhere 
in the search box.

And, those of us closing tickets as dups realize that the search is 
disabled, so we won't blame you as long as it is.  :)  That said, if you 
try a different search approach and find a dup that prevents your 
submitting the ticket, we, er, won't even know ... so I suppose I should 
just thank those people in advance.
