It is most likely that you do not have a properly configured
"~/.mythtv/config.xml" file. That file is used by Jamu to access the
MythTV database. See the first comments in this section of the wiki
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Jamu#This_stupid_thing_does_not_work.21
