I have the HVR-2250 working with Mythbuntu 9.10 and 0.21-fixes from 
JYA's repo. It seems to work well. It has an internal splitter and gives 
you two DVB (ClearQAM/ATSC) capture devices in a single card. The 
drivers do not currently support the NTSC side of the card. I did 
compile the latest out of tree drivers for mine. I think the driver will 
be merged into mainline for 2.6.32.
