Greg,
    "config.xml" is a base MythTV database configuration file. You will 
need to have that file in the home directory of the account which you 
are running Miro Bridge specifically "~/.mythtv/config.xml". The file is 
not specific to Miro Bridge and that is why it is not mentioned in the 
wiki. May be it will be added if this is the actual problem.
    
    Please check that you have the file and its contents are correct. 
Personally I have two one in "~/.mythtv/config.xml" and the other in 
"/root/.mythtv/config.xml".
    
    In a previous response I sent you a pastebin link to a python script 
that could reveal more information than what you have now. It may even 
confirm that there is a config.xml issue.
