[mythtv-users] Image gallery

For some reason I can't get the image gallery to import my pictures.

I put my SD card, which ubuntu (9.10 beta) auto mounts to /media/disk.  
Nothing happens.

If I configure "Paths to import images from" to /media/disk, when I go into 
the gallery nothing.  Press the menu key ... nothing.

The only way I can view my pictures is to set "Directory that holds images" to 
/media/disk/ ... but thats not what I really want.

Any suggestions ?
