[mythtv-users] Still tearing my hair out with Myth 0.21 on Fedora 11

And now every time I try and scan within mythtv-setup, I end up getting a
segmentation fault immediately after the scan seems to complete, whichever
scan option that I use.

What is wrong? Why does this crashing occur?

I think mythtv-setup in 0.21 has problems with hyperthreaded and multicore CPUs.

Try running taskset -c 0 mythtv-setup instead of just mythtv-setup.
I have had this problem from time to time but not always.
