[mythtv-users] Mythwelcome always starts the frontend

It looks like mythshutdown thinks that the box was started manually:
2009-10-07 12:05:04.477 Using runtime prefix = /usr
2009-10-07 12:05:04.477 Empty LocalHostName.
2009-10-07 12:05:04.477 Using localhost value of mythtv.voidtrance.net
2009-10-07 12:05:04.478 MCP::DefaultUPnP() - No default UPnP backend
2009-10-07 12:05:04.490 New DB connection, total: 1
2009-10-07 12:05:04.496 Connected to database 'mythconverg' at host: localhost
2009-10-07 12:05:04.497 Closing DB connection named 'DBManager0'
2009-10-07 12:05:04.497 Clearing Settings Cache.
2009-10-07 12:05:04.497 Enabling Settings Cache.
2009-10-07 12:05:04.497 Clearing Settings Cache.
2009-10-07 12:05:04.497 Mythshutdown: --startup
2009-10-07 12:05:04.497 Connected to database 'mythconverg' at host: localhost
2009-10-07 12:05:04.498 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE value = 'MythshutdownWakeupTime' AND hostname IS NULL;
2009-10-07 12:05:04.499 looks like we were started manually1
2009-10-07 12:05:04.499 Mythshutdown: --startup returned: 1
It looks like mythshutdown (or the backend) never actually insert any values in the MythshutdownWakeupTime row in
the settings table.
I thought I had configured my backend and mythwelcome correctly for the autoshutdown and wakeup (and it sees so
because it does wakeup when it should) but something must be wrong.

sorry you did say that in your original post..
never noticed the text before.. I have mine unchecked on my server,
try unchecking it and then running mythshutdown -p -v all on your
client and see what value it is returning (never actually ran this on
a frontend only so not sure if it will work)..
