Thanks for that information. WinterHill has 6 multiplexes. According to
http://www.dtg.org.uk/industry/dtt_channels.html there are two sets of
information, pre and post DSO. Is DSO the switchover due in a months time?

The information in the uk-WinterHill file in the dvb-t folder is as
follows:-
# UK, Winter Hill
# Auto-generated from http://www.dtg.org.uk/retailer/dtt_channels.html
# and http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/reception_advice/index.asp.html
# T freq bw fec_hi fec_lo mod transmission-mode guard-interval hierarchy
T 754167000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 2k 1/32 NONE
T 834167000 8MHz 2/3 NONE QAM64 2k 1/32 NONE
T 850167000 8MHz 2/3 NONE QAM64 2k 1/32 NONE
T 842167000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 2k 1/32 NONE
T 786167000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 2k 1/32 NONE
T 810167000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 2k 1/32 NONE
# UK, Winter Hill B
T 650000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 2k 1/32 NONE
T 626000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 2k 1/32 NONE

The freq values are rounded up from the values in my (new) channels.conf
that I generated this morning. Does this matter? This was dated 20 Feb 2009,
and I know we have had one refresh a few days ago, to allow Channel 5 to
move frequency.

If it does not, should I then use the data to populate the dtv_multiplex
table? Or am I jumping too quickly?
