I've found that 9.10 with 0.22 plays DVDs much better than  9.04 with
0.21.  I don't think this is about copy protection ; but rather the
version of ffmpeg in 0.21 had a bug with still frames; and it would
get hung up on the FBI warnings.

BTW, I use this script to rip the ISOs and have never had a problem.
It uses lsdvd to get the disc name, and ddrescue to copy the disc
itself.
