The current ATI drivers just don't compare with what nvidia is
offering with VDPAU. I don't know for sure, but I doubt that the 1.6
GHz Athlon could handle HD H264 material on its own. For pictures
quality and raw processing power for HD playback the ION is going to
outperform this machine.
