DD works fine out of my Motorola Box (3200 I think) into the HD-PVR.
I play back through my yamaha receiver which autodetects as DD and I
get full 5.1 surround.

DD fine here too (motorola IPstb 1920 - I also "think"), Definitely far crisper sound than over rca, and full 5.1.

Cheers!
