That's what I thought.

I had time to do more testing this morning. It does seem to be a USB
problem. Great, yet another hardware problem!
I have 4 back panel USB ports. I haven't tried all combinations yet,
but one or both HD-PVRs act up when both are connected to the back
panel. If I move one HD-PVR to a front panel port, things seem to be
stable, even with IR enabled.
Do you know if two HD-PVRs would play nice with an unpowered USB hub?
I'm finally happy with the cable management between my A/V stand and
Myth backend and having to run a separate cable around to the front
messes that up. If it would work, I could mount a small hub on the
back of the stand and run one USB cable to the back panel.
