[mythtv-users] VDPAU Terrible with 9400GT?

I had VDPAU (Jaunty/Jean-Yves repo) working well with an
8400GS, some interlacing, 10% CPU etc.

Then, because I wanted to move to HDMI output/sound I
switched to a 9400GT. Sound is Ok but I've had to disable
the VDPAU profile as the results were terrible - I get
little flickering squares all over the video (HD & SD).

Has anyone else had any experience with a 9400GT? are they
just not good for VDPAU or could mine be a dud?
