Using the settings I posted above ? not possible :)

BTW, you don't even need to bother with a .asoundrc file just delete
it and make sure you run alsamixer and no channels are muted.

If you disable AC3 and DTS passthrough, at best you'll get stereo
sound, never any multi-channels audio
