[mythtv-users] how to tell what encoder a recording used

As far as I know, the only place to find this info after the fact is
to look at the backend recording logs. If you still have the logs
around from those days, you can look for lines like this:
2009-05-09 18:30:01.792 TVRec(5): StartedRecording(0xa98b0518)
fn(/multimedia/tv/livetv/1082_20090509183000.mpg)

The "TVRec(5)" means it recorded on tuner #5 and you can match up the
file path to the recording in question
