I was forced to regress back to 18722 this morning (which I did with
partimage) so if think your file will work with this version,  yes,
please send it along. I can put your file in anyway and then if myth
balks, then just restore the old file.  I was never able to get the
fixes version (20xxxx something) to change volume, which was a show
stopper.  So I'm back with what I had before but using playback profile
"High Quality".  So far no delayed IR remote keypresses  and  the
volume / mute controls work normally from the remote.  After three days
of searching and configuring, I think "It's working, don't fix it" is
the rule of the day.

By the way, the info I sent this AM was prior to my restoring version
18722.  (referenced in the josh3.txt grep reference above)  That is to
say the tests were done with the fixes version from the mythbuntu fixes
repository I grabbed yesterday,  Sunday 29 March.  Right now, I can't
recall which 20xxx version number I had installed.
