For me it ends up with "who cares"?  At $20 a pop, if it lasts for 1, 2 or 3
years before wear destroys it, I've gotten more than my money's worth.  Just
"dd" the flash card to an image once in a while to keep a good backup of it
and when it dies, "dd" the image back to a new drive.
