Asus M3N78-EM mATX also works nicely with sound through HDMI with the
onboard graphics.

I have also tested a Gainward 8400GS and an Asus 9500GT with SPDIF
passthrough from the motherboard. Both work very well. The positive effect
of this setup is that I get sound simultaneously through both HDMI on the
graphics card as well as the onboard optical SPDIF connector.
