Thanks this is how I have it setup but as the subject MythTV converts
all characters to uppercase if you use the MythTV binding (and not
irxevent).

Thanks not sure how to use this especially with my setup.

Cheers everyone for help but I think I either have to go back to
irxevent or just hope there is a fix possible for MythTV.
