Agreed.. that's my biggest beef with CFLs.... What I tend to do, is where I
have a fixture with more than 1 bulb, I make one a non CFL, so I can get
immediate (if somewhat dimmer) light... I guess the 2 holy grails for CFL is
fast start, and dimmable.
