You could, but you would be disappointed since the DirecTV grabber that
already exists does not get the extended channel listings, just the
standard set (which does not include the NBA channels in question).
Hence the 'slightly modified XMLTV grabber (gets extended channel
listings)' referenced in the OP. Patch has been submitted to the XMLTV
grabber author, but it probably won't get included due to it's limited
audience.
