Because the rate returned by xrandr are integers only ; so you won't be able
to differentiate between 24Hz (PAL) and 23.967Hz (US).
With DynamicTwinview on and the various ModeLines, I can have exactly the
rate I want.
May sound anal, but there is a difference. You can notice a frame drop every
few seconds.
I've started to play with nvidia code following some advice from the nvidia
developers on how to retrieve the exact refresh rate automatically ; but my
code doesn't work yet in dual screen configuration and as I have a working
solution (albeit not as elegant) I haven't given it much priority.
