Vdpau in xbmc is isolated in it's own branch and experimental. But to answer your question , yes!

I see... mythbox is a set of scripts running on top of xbmc so you get access to whatever xbmc offers.

I played with it a bit ..

Where can I report bugs ?

The issues so far:
-Mythbox shows all the channels found by mythtv, but it displays the one that are disabled/hidden
-If it starts watching LiveTV and there's an error (like a networking error) , the tuner on the backend isn't freed...
