I don't know if this is what you were thinking of but, last month I
posted about the audio being messed up on a single channel. I got no
replies though. I ended up just reducing the recording volume down
from 100% and that helped the situation. If you are in the US you may
want to make sure you have your channels set to use the correct
frequency table. If that is wrong you will often see problems only on
channel 5 or 6 and the rest of the channels will be fine.
