I was having a similar problem, but with only one channel (ABC). I
could watch Live TV just fine but all my recordings were missing.
I changed "Use Quick Tuning" in mythtvsetup on the "Input Connections"
screen from "Live TV Only" to Always, and now my recordings work just
fine.
