I just set up my own Zotac "C" frontend. The Kill-A-Watt says 19W
idle, 24W when displaying a maximum bitrate HD-PVR 720p recording, and
26W when doing the same at 2x timestretch. This is with the following
devices: USB thumb drive (no hard drive or optical drive), keyboard,
optical mouse, and StreamZap IR receiver. Also gigabit ethernet, DVI
out, stereo audio out, and hacked power LED and power switch. No
noise! No moving parts! Awesome! Now to find a suitable household
item to use as a case.
